Chia Harvested In America
Heartland Chia is a farmer-owned company growing premium chia right here in the American Midwest. Since 2012, we’ve focused on bringing the first and only Midwest-grown, USA chia to families and food manufacturers, with full traceability from our fields to you. What started as a simple idea, “why import chia when we can grow it at home?” became reality through years of research, early-flowering seed lines, and a passion to provide consumers with high quality, sustainably grown chia seeds.
We offer whole charcoal/black chia seeds in sizes for every need: 12 oz retail pouches, 10 lb pails, and 30 lb buckets online. For larger runs, we supply 50 lb poly bags (call to order) and 2,000 lb totes for industry partners. Every lot is U.S. grown and packaged, Non-GMO, naturally gluten-free, Kosher, low-moisture, and processed with a food-safe kill-step, backed by traceability you can trust.
We farm with stewardship in mind: lower inputs, pollinator-friendly bloom, and smart rotations that build healthy soils because better practices make better ingredients. Home cooks, bakeries, and commercial brands alike choose us for consistent quality and clear sourcing.
