Quinoa Cookies



1/2 cup Gone Nuts nut butter of choice

1/4 cup honey

1 banana

1 egg

1 tsp vanilla

1/2 cup oats

1/2 cup quinoa flakes

1 tsp baking powder

1/2 cup coconut flakes

2 Tbsp Heartland Chia seeds


Preheat oven at 350 degrees

Add all ingredients in a bowl and mix until creamy

Chill in refrigerator until the consistency is thick

Spoon two tablespoons of dough onto the sheet and continue until no dough remains

Bake for 15 minutes

Let us know what you think of this recipe, we know we love it! -2 large eggs -3 medium overripe bananas, mashed -1 cup canned pumpkin -1 1/2 cups skim milk -2 Tbs melted butter -1 tsp vanilla extract -2 1/2 cups old fashioned oats -1 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice -1/2 tsp nutmeg -2 dashes cardamom -1/2 tsp cinnamon -1 tsp baking powder -1 Tbs Heartland Chia seeds -1/2 cup maple walnuts -1/2 cup dark chocolate chips or chunks Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9x13 pan with nonstick cooing spray. In a medium/large bowl, mix together eggs, mashed banana, pumpkin, milk, butter, and vanilla extract until combined. Next, add oats, pumpkin pie spice, nutmeg, cardamom, cinnamon, baking powder, and Heartland Chia seeds until well combined. Lastly sprinkle on walnuts and dark chocolate chips. Lightly press into the oatmeal "batter." Pour mixture into prepared pan and bake for 25 minutes until edges start to become slightly golden brown, or until toothpick comes out clean. Serve warm, and store in the refrigerator!

Not to mention, they're easy to make with ingredients you probably already have in your kitchen! -1/8 tsp cinnamon -1/8 tsp cardamom -1/2 T  Heartland chia seeds -1/8 + 1/4 tsp baking soda -1/8 + 1/4 tsp baking powder -1/2 cup peanut butter (or any nut butter) -1 Tbs tahini -1/3 cup maple syrup -1 Tbs honey -1 pinch pink Himalayan salt crystals -1/3 cup chocolate bar, chopped in chunks Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine all ingredients in food processor. Mix in chocolate chunks by hand. Spread mixture into greased pan or pan lined with parchment paper. Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown. Enjoy!
